Full legal wedding is actually performing both religion wedding and civil wedding at once. Normally legal civil registration by government official from the Office of Civil Registry will be held after religion wedding procession completed.
Exception applies to Moslem wedding within which “Buku Nikah” serving as marriage certificate is issued by KUA – government office under the Ministry of Religion Affairs – is also acknowledged by the Office of Civil Registry as an official marriage certificate acceptable throughout Indonesia and also back in your country after translated by the government representative of your country in Indonesia (Consulate in Bali or Embassy in Jakarta).
